Summary
Baylor College of Medicine's Department of Pediatrics - Palliative Care is seeking temporary administrative support.
The maximum assignment length is 3 months. This is a temporary position and is not eligible for benefits.
Job Duties
- Coordinate and manage outpatient scheduling, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
- Assist with coordinating candidate interviews, including scheduling and logistics.
- Answer the department's main phone line; screen, route, and respond to telephone inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Support fellowship coordination duties, including lecture scheduling and related administrative tasks.
- Arrange domestic and international travel using Concur; submit and track reimbursements for travel and other faculty-related expenses.
- Coordinate lecture and departmental events, including space reservations, audiovisual setup, catering arrangements, and preparation of materials.
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to scheduling, travel, and events.
- Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Basic office skills.
- Experience with Concur.
- Experience scheduling meetings and setting faculty reminders.
