Job Title:  BCM Temporary - Administrative Support - HR Benefits

Salary Range:  $27 - $33 per hour
FLSA Status:  Nonexempt
Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Summary

This position provides strategic HR support for the Benefits/Front Desk team and the New Employee Orientation Team, and is responsible for assisting in the administration of various benefits administration and new employee onboarding functions by providing customer service and setting and maintaining personnel files, as well as processing new hire I-9s.

 

This is a temporary position and the maximum length of the assignment is three months. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Job Duties

  • Assists in the coordination and administration of benefits programs; provides routine support services.
  • Greets visitors, answers phone, takes messages, routes calls and follows-up; responds to inquiries via phone and email and/or refers as appropriate.
  • Maintains employee records, including status updates, terminations, and new hires.
  • Performs reviews and verification of data on employee information system, files, and/or forms.
  • Assists in the collection of employee information for reports and statistical research.
  • Answers employee questions and troubleshoots issues.
  • Processes I-9's for new hire employment verification.
  • Assists new hires in completion of new hire paperwork including technical troubleshooting and password reset functions.
  • Assists with special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Experience with employer sponsored health insurance benefit plan administration.
  • Front Desk experience in professional office environment.
  • Customer service experience.
