The Department of Medicine is currently seeking to fill a term-track position at the level of Associate Professor. The Department has 14 sections focus on clinical disciplines within the field of internal medicine, including three devoted to research: Cardiovascular Research, Health Services Research, and Epidemiology and Population Sciences. This position will be within the Section of Epidemiology and Population Sciences.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform basic and translational research on cancer immunology and immunotherapy.

Supervise staff, research technician, postdoc, and students.

Prepare and submit grant applications.

Manages and coordinates the research activities inside and outside of the laboratory.

Demonstrate use and care of equipment to research personnel in the laboratory.

Serve as biosafety and animal research officer for the laboratory.

Job Qualifications:

Has a PhD or MD degree

Has obtained NIH research awards previously

Has strong publication record in cancer research

Has extensive experience in immunology
