The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon to join our Adult Cardiac Surgery program with a focus on aortic surgery at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center (BSLMC), also home to the Texas Heart Institute (THI). Our program specializes in the treatment of complex aortic patients through both open and endovascular techniques, emergent cases including aortic dissections, coronary artery bypass surgery, and valvular surgery including transcatheter techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching cardiothoracic surgery residents and advanced fellows and developing/participating in clinical/translational research efforts. The candidate will also act as part of the larger adult cardiothoracic team at BSLMC/THI and Baylor College of Medicine. 

Job Qualifications:

ABTS board certification or board eligibility is required and the candidate must qualify for a full and unrestricted Texas medical license.
