The Department of Medicine, Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is seeking an Assistant Professor with an interest in clinical endocrinology, medical education, and clinical research.
Job Summary
The clinical part-time equivalent, or 0.5 cFTE work component, consists of direct subspecialty endocrine patient care in the ambulatory setting, in the community clinics of the Harris Health System and inpatient consultative care at Ben Taub Hospital. The successful candidate would be dedicated to developing a clinical practice that focuses on general endocrinology and diabetes. He/She would be expected to teach fellows within the BCM Endocrinology Fellowship program. The Section of Endocrinology at BCM has over 20 faculty members with multiple active research grants from NIH, VA, and industry, and a thriving fellowship program with 10 post-doctoral clinical fellows. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Education: M.D. or equivalent
Requirements: Candidates most be board-eligible or board-certified endocrinologists
Minimum Licensure/Certification: Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
