Texas Children's Hospital is seeking board-certified or board-eligible pediatric physiatrists to join our comprehensive pediatric rehabilitation team affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine.  The successful candidates will exhibit excellent clinical skills, strong organizational and team skills, and a desire to teach. 


Our team consists of ten pediatric physiatrists with four physician fellows, six advanced practice providers and three nurse coordinators, along with an amazing team of therapists from all pertinent disciplines.  Our practice supports our 12 bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU), a busy consultation service, an EMG lab, and numerous outpatient clinics.  We have an ACGME-approved fellowship training program and active involvement with BCM Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residents, medical students, physician assistant students and BCM medical students with clinical and didactic teaching opportunities.  Faculty spend time at both hospital based clinics and community specialty clinics.  

Job Duties

Pediatric Physiatrist with Inpatient Focus
•    Assist with Inpatient consultations and IRU coverage/outpatient spasticity and general PM&R clinics
•    Texas Children's Hospital - Medical Center Location in Houston
•    Diverse patient populations served in addition to TBI/SCI/CP
•    Strong relationships with referring services
