The Autism Center at Texas Children's Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics, Baylor College of Medicine (BCM), Section of Psychology seek applicants for a neuropsychologist to provide services within the Autism Center at Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH).

Job Responsibilities:

The neuropsychologist will work full-time in the Autism Center at TCH, which serves children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental conditions, as well as their families. The position will include conducting neuropsychological and psychological assessments, in some cases as part of an interdisciplinary team. Other clinical opportunities may include neuropsychological evaluations with children and adolescents with other neurodevelopmental disorders such as spina bifida and cerebral palsy. Responsibilities may also include collaborating with research activities and supervision of externs, interns, and fellows within the Section of Psychology. The position comes with an academic appointment at Baylor College of Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Psychology.

Job Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have a doctoral degree in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA- or CPA-approved program and will have substantial prior assessment experience with children with ASD. Additionally, applicants must be licensed, or license-eligible, in the state of Texas. Training in the ADOS/ADI-R and at least one year of experience in an interdisciplinary ASD clinic is preferred. A candidate who is bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred but not required.
