Summary
The Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a qualified physician with interest and experience in treating Alzheimer’s Disease and related cognitive disorders. The successful candidate will be appointed at a faculty level commensurate with experience and achievement. The successful candidate will provide clinical care for adults with neurological disorders in the outpatient setting and participate in research.
Job Duties
- Provide patient care in the Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorders Center as well as inpatient clinical services at Baylor’s affiliated institutions.
- Participate in the Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorder Clinic (ADMDC) research program including clinical trials, translational research, and grant-funded projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree
- Must have successfully completed residency training in adult neurology in an ACGME-accredited program
- Board-eligible/board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Fellowship training is not required, although it will be considered
- Applicants who have just completed training will be considered as will applicants with previous clinical experience
