The section of Endocrinology at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) seeks Board Certified/Board Eligible endocrinologists for positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Job Responsibilities:

The clinical full-time equivalent, or 1.0 cFTE work component, consists of 36 hours of direct patient care in the ambulatory setting at Baylor McNair Clinic dedicated to weight management, diabetes and general endocrinology patients. The successful candidate would be expected to participate in a multidisciplinary Cardiometabolic Center and develop a clinical practice with a focus on weight management.  Successful candidate would be expected to teach fellows of the BCM Endocrine fellowship program; and be involved in scholarly activities in the areas of Obesity/Metabolic Syndrome/Type 2 Diabetes. The Section of Endocrinology at BCM boasts 20 faculty members with multiple active research grants from NIH, VA and industry, and a thriving fellowship program with 10 post doctoral fellows (www.bcm.edu/departments/medicine/sections-divisions-centers/endocrinology-diabetes-and-metabolism)

Minimum Education: M.D. or equivalent


Minimum Job Experience: Related experience required.
