The division of Reproductive Psychiatry within the Baylor College of Medicine Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women Hospital is expanding its services for perimenopausal patients and seeks a psychiatrist with experience in reproductive psychiatry and special interest in perimenopause.


Clinical duties include evaluation and management of patients and coordinating and collaborating care within a multi-disciplinary clinic with gynecologists, psychologists, physical therapists, urogynecologists and other specialists focused on the needs of perimenopausal women.


Academic opportunities include training and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows and participating in research projects. Faculty participate in the mission of the Baylor College of Medicine: to create knowledge and apply science and discoveries to further education, healthcare, and community service both locally and globally.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include an M.D. or D.O. degree with completion of an approved residency in general psychiatry, board-certified or board-eligible for certification by ABPN, and experience in reproductive psychiatry.  Must be able to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and possess knowledge of therapeutic modalities employed by the team.


Preferred: completion of a fellowship in women’s mental health, a current license to practice medicine in the State of Texas, and current CPR certification.
