Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Creative Services, the Assistant Director of Creative Service’s primary purpose is to support creative strategies to advance the mission, vision, and values of Baylor College of Medicine and its philanthropic communications.

Job Duties

  • Works as a contributing team member to develop and update print and digital materials and coordinate production of such materials for various internal clients for external audiences.
  • Executes tasks related to communication projects that support the philanthropic communication needs of the department while maintaining brand standards by using appropriate logos, colors, and messaging.
  • Assists department members with the visual enhancement of Microsoft Word and Powerpoint materials for deployment to internal and external audiences.
  • Provide production support to the creative services team by coordinating and facilitating internal and external jobs, file management, and proof updates with internal and external partners for print and other mass distribution.
  • Regularly communicates with internal teams to coordinate timelines and inform them of task progress.
  • Partners with other members of the creative team to brainstorm and cultivate innovative ideas.
  • Possesses the ability to clearly and professionally articulate ideas and concepts.
  • Maintains awareness of current design industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two to three years of relevant experience.
  • Must be proficient in the latest versions of Powerpoint and Microsoft Word with the ability to apply strong design value to multi-page documents and presentations.
  • Should also be comfortable working with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
