Baylor College of Medicine's Hospital-Based Services is currently seeking a fellowship trained, qualified, provider for its Division of Anesthesiology. Candidate will serve as a key member of our team to provide high-quality, evidence-based anesthesia services to patients at high acuity levels.

Job Duties

  • This position will provide staffing for our Cardiovascular Operating Rooms at Ben Taub and will directly report to Dr. Lisa Wofford (Chief of Anesthesia).
  • Provider will have primary direct anesthesia responsibilities for patients in the operating rooms and GI suites.
  • Provider will participate in quality care improvement initiatives.
  • Provider will actively participate in Education of all trainees (medical students, residents, SRNAs, and fellows).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine degree with anesthesiology residency.
  • Required: Fellowship in CV Anesthesiology from an ACGME accredited fellowship.
  • Required: Board certified/eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Commitment to clinical excellence and a track record of excellent clinical performance during residency and fellowship.
  • Scholarly enthusiasm and commitment to ongoing education.
