Salary Range:  $63,052 to $74,178
FLSA Status:  Exempt
Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

The Data Analytics Associate is responsible collecting, analyzing, and managing patient experience-related quantitative and qualitative data collected from Baylor Medicine patients. Responsibilities include preparing comprehensive reports based on this data and collaborating with current data vendors to review, organize, and interpret the findings. Additionally, this position entails maintaining patient experience data and overseeing existing patient survey processes using a variety of software and computer applications.

Job Duties

  • Develops and implements databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality for the purposes of reporting on and improving patient experience.
  • Collects, manages, and organizes patient experience survey data from multiple sources and databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Maintains and updates patient experience related databases in partnership with existing vendor(s).
  • Performs quantitative and qualitative analyses of patient experience data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Uses statistical tools and software to analyze survey results and generate meaningful insights.
  • Prepares detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate key findings to stakeholders, including leadership, clinical teams, and patient experience committees.
  • Translates complex data into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives aimed at improving patient experience based on survey data.
  • Continuously evaluates and refines patient survey processes to enhance data collection and analysis efficiency.
  • Remains current with industry trends and best practices in patient experience measurement and data analytics.
  • Provides technical support and training to staff on data collection and analysis tools as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
     

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, analytics, business, or related fields.
  • Experience as an analyst or data specialist in the management of multiple patient experience data systems/platforms in a healthcare system or physician practice setting. 
  • Familiarity with patient experience survey platforms (e.g. Press Ganey).
