Salary Range:  $47,372 - $56,000
FLSA Status:  Nonexempt
Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Summary

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking a proactive and relationship‑driven professional to support and promote the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program across school districts throughout the Greater Houston area. As part of the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC), TCHATT delivers free, high‑quality telehealth services to students enrolled in Texas public schools, helping expand access to timely mental health support. In this role, the individual will serve as a key liaison between Baylor College of Medicine’s TCHATT team and partnering school districts. Responsibilities include coordinating and executing outreach strategies, strengthening district engagement, and increasing awareness of TCHATT services. The ideal candidate will excel at building partnerships, communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, and representing the program with professionalism and enthusiasm.

 

This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.

Job Duties

  • Represents TCHATT at school/community events (fairs, parent nights, district events).
  • Plans and coordinates event logistics (travel, materials, scheduling).
  • Operates with direction from the manager (targets provided by leadership).
  • Provides high-level program overview only; collect contact information for follow-up.
  • Confirms flyers, swag, calendar invites, speaker confirmations, and location details.
  • Ensures all logistical materials are prepared in advance.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including providers, community organizations, schools systems, and state agencies to ensure program activities, and contacts are up to date. 
  • Attends meetings, conferences, and committees related to child mental health to stay informed about current trends, policies, and best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Two years of relevant experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
