Summary
The Department of Medicine is seeking a Coordinator, Business Operations to provide support for the Sections of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine at Ben Taub Hospital. This role is responsible for ensuring daily business operations are executed, including Concur submissions, overseeing provider credentialing, maintaining clinic schedules, and day-to-day administrative support. This position requires excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position will be located at Ben Taub and may offer a hybrid work arrangement after training.
Job Duties
- Supports the day-to-day operations of the service lines at Ben Taub.
- Serves as the primary credentialing contact for BCM providers at Harris Health including BaylorMedCare credentialing, including the tracking of credentialing status, initial credentialing, and re-credentialing.
- Processes supplemental payments for faculty for moonlighting and other additional assignments.
- Manages death certificate process via TxEVER system.
- Provides administrative support and IT support to faculty and Harris Health program.
- Maintains the website and online faculty profiles for Harris Health faculty.
- Assists with the Annual evaluations for faculty.
- Assists with the Concur reimbursements and travel requests.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Concur.
- Prior credentialling experience.
