Salary Range:  $47,372 - $55,731
FLSA Status:  Nonexempt
Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

The Division of Allergy & Immunology in the Department of Pediatrics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Coordinator, Business Operations. This position will provide general administrative support to the Division and its faculty including, but not limited to, calendar management, reimbursement processing, supply procurement, and special projects/events planning.

 

This position is located at Texas Children's Hospital Main Campus in the Texas Medical Center (TMC). This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement after an initial training period.

Job Duties

  • Manages and maintains faculty calendars.
  • Manages domestic and international travel in Concur in alignment with BCM travel guidelines.
  • Prepares and processes purchase orders on multiple fund sources.
  • Submits expenses for reimbursement in alignment with BCM guidelines.
  • Inspects and troubleshoots shared department equipment (e.g. printers, scanners, etc.). Facilitates service calls as needed.
  • Composes formal and informal correspondence including, but not limited to, creating and formatting presentations.
  • Assists in coordinating Travel Medicine clinic visits and International Adoption consultations.
  • Assists in credentialing and onboarding new faculty (e.g. submitting access requests, badge requests, ordering supplies).
  • Answers and routes calls for the Division.
  • Provides coverage for other coordinators as needed.
  • Provides additional support to faculty members as needed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
     

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and perform multiple time-sensitive and confidential administrative duties.
