Summary
Pediatrics is seeking temporary administrative support temporary support to maintain operational efficiency and ensure continuity of administrative services during an upcoming departmental relocation.
This is a temporary position with a maximum assignment length of 3 months. This position is not eligible for benefits.
Job Duties
- Administrative Support
- Provides administrative coverage for the Pediatrics Administration Chair and leadership team.
- Assists with calendar management, meeting coordination, and general office support.
- Responds to inquiries and directs requests to appropriate department personnel.
- Office Relocation Support
- Assists with coordinating and executing department relocation activities.
- Organizes, sorts, boxes, inventories, and labels files, records, and office materials.
- Ensures files and supplies are accurately tracked and prepared for transport.
- Supports the setup and organization of workspaces before, during, and after the move.
- Assists with identifying, purging, and disposing of outdated, duplicate, or unnecessary materials in accordance with department policies.
- General Office Duties
- Maintains organized work areas and filing systems.
- Assists with document preparation, copying, scanning, and data entry.
- Supports special projects and department initiatives as assigned.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Associate's degree in a business-related field.
- Previous administrative or office support experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move boxes and office materials up to 25 pounds as needed.
