Summary

 

We are inviting applications for a full-time advanced endoscopist to join our growing team at Baylor College of Medicine and Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center. The focus of this position will be pancreaticobiliary disorders within a high-volume, multidisciplinary academic practice.

Job Duties

  • Evaluate new and existing patients in the clinic setting and outpatient endoscopy.
  • Participate in the inpatient consult service at Baylor St. Luke's.
  • Develop a treatment plan for patients.
  • Meet productivity benchmarks established by Baylor College of Medicine.
  • Participate in all routine clinical meetings held with the immediate work group.
  • Maintain required certifications and licensing.
  • Become familiar with Electronic Medical Record system, enter data into EMR, and develop a level of competency to document all patient encounters.
  • Complete all documentation in a timely manner.
  • Orders for diagnostic services and referrals to specialists.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: M.D.
  • Minimum Job Experience: Residency & Fellowship training in Gastroenterology. One year of advanced endoscopy fellowship.
  • Minimum Certification/Licenses/Registration: License from Texas Medical Board certification. Board required to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
