Summary
The intern will learn how to create and follow clinical trials. They will learn how to write and present abstracts at national conferences. They will learn how to create and write manuscripts to be published in Urological Journals. Interns will also gain a better understanding of Urological conditions particularly in Sexual Medicine and Andrology.
Job Purpose
Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience.
Job Duties
- Learns more about clinical research.
- Helps mentor and aide medical students with research projects.
- Holds monthly research meetings with medical students.
- Presents research findings at national conferences.
- Writes and publishes scientific manuscripts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
