Job Purpose

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Daniel A. Gorelick (http://gorelicklab.org) in the Center for Precision Environmental Health at the Baylor College of Medicine. The candidate will work on a project of their own devising, broadly related to reproductive endocrinology, steroid signaling and/or ligand-dependent transcription factors.

The goal of the postdoctoral fellowship is to train the candidate for the next stage of their career. Therefore, the ideal candidate will approach this position with a scientific problem they are interested in studying and ideas for potential experimental approaches prior to joining the lab.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
  • Evaluates and analyzes data.
  • May establish new research protocols and procedures.
  • Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
  • May be responsible for laboratory operations.
  • May supervise research staff.
Minimum Qualifications

Education: Ph.D in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.

Experience: None required.
