Summary
The Intern/Aide in the Department of Medicine – Endocrinology at Baylor College of Medicine will gain hands-on exposure to a large-scale program project grant within a dynamic academic research environment. This role offers an opportunity to learn and contribute to key components of research administration, research project management, and collaborative efforts with core leaders focused on project outcomes and implementation of grant aims.
Interns will actively support one or more project cores related to the HNORC (Houston Nutrition Obesity Research Center), assisting with entry-level administrative and/or laboratory tasks while developing foundational knowledge of research operations. Responsibilities may include supporting special projects, participating in program activities, and observing processes aligned with the intern’s academic interests or career goals. Through close collaboration with research teams, interns will enhance their understanding of scientific project execution, interdisciplinary teamwork, and academic research infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution.
