Summary

Baylor College of Medicine at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio is seeking to hire a full-time clinical and/or biochemical geneticist to join the faculty of Baylor College of Medicine at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio. This position includes an academic appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, a competitive salary, and full benefits package. The successful candidate will join a team of three clinical geneticists, a biochemical geneticist, a pediatric nurse practitioner and six genetic counselors.

Job Duties

Primary responsibilities will include outpatient genetics clinic, specialty clinics, inpatient consultation, call coverage, and participation in learner education. The position is supported by genetics clinic staff, genetic counselors, metabolic dietitians, metabolic nurses, and social workers. The Voelcker Clinical Research Center provides support for faculty involved with research activities. 

Minimum Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have an MD, DO or MD/PhD degree, be board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics, must have or obtain a Texas medical license, and possess outstanding clinical skills.
